Jamie Banner's career in hospitality began at P&O Ferries after leaving school. He then went and furthered his formal education before re-entering the industry, joining The Abode Hotel in Canterbury, followed by a trainee management programme at The PIG Hotels in 2013. Over the years, he rotated through various departments at The PIG and Lime Wood, gaining expertise in hotel management. Jamie's first leadership role as Bar Manager led to positions as Reception Manager and General Manager. He is now the Hotel Director at The PIG in Canterbury, continuing his successful journey in hospitality.

Career Highlights:

Jamie has had countless memorable experiences throughout his career. Some standout moments include checking in Gwyneth Paltrow, meeting Liam Gallagher, and forming connections with board members at Southampton Football Club -experiences that highlight the unique opportunities within the hospitality industry.

However, his most significant career achievement has been returning to Canterbury to manage a hotel for a company he loves. Having been with The PIG since its early days, growing with the brand and contributing to its success has been a fulfilling journey.
